Navigating Networks To Develop Leadership Capacity
Dr. Donna Chrobot-Mason, PhD returns to our monthly meeting to discuss cutting edge research in organizational networks and their application for developing greater leadership capacity. Donna will share findings from a case study based on her work with a highly innovative and team-based organization. Donna’s team collected data over two points in time to compare changes in network relationships and how that impacted collaboration and leadership ties in the organization. Participants will then have an opportunity to complete a basic organizational network analysis of their own to assess their leadership capacity within their own organization. Donna will then discuss strategies to enhance one’s own network as well as the organization’s network to improve leadership (e.g., direction, alignment, and commitment).
Key Content & Learning Objectives:
• Understanding organizational networks and their
