Happy Halloween, Cincinnati! Skip the tricks and enjoy the treat of another beautiful week downtown. Tonight, the legend of headless Jack lives on at The Banks! Eight of your favorite bars are teaming up to host Jack’s Halloween Bar Hop from 7 to 11PM. At every stop, enjoy themed cocktails and candy, and play spirited games like Candy Cornhole, Scarecrow Shuffle, Jack-o-Lantern Toss, and more! Pick up a bingo card during the event check-in and collect stamps at every stop along the hop for a chance to win prizes at the end of the night! Costumes are not mandatory but, of course, are welcome! Registration is free; RSVP online now!

Experience the Cincinnati Ballet’s latest ghostly production, Giselle, opening tonight at Music Hall! Hailed as the most romantic ballet of all time, Giselle explores enduring love, devastating betrayal, and ultimate forgiveness. The story of a peasant girl who descends into madness and dies of a broken heart after her lover betrays her is both haunting and beautiful. With virtuoso principal roles, eerie ghosts called the Willis, and live music from the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra, this is a Halloween weekend memory that will last. Showtimes vary by day, and tickets are going fast!

It's beginning to look a lot like ice rink season in the heart of the Fountain District! Saturday marks the grand opening of the UC Health Ice Rink presented by Fifth Third Bank at Fountain Square. A favorite of both locals and visitors, ice skating downtown has become a family-friendly tradition each winter. Rink amenities include 600 pairs of rental skates, the WGU Ohio Warming Tent, a full-service concessions tent with snacks and alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, on-site parking, and restrooms. Keep up with the rink’s programming calendar featuring themed events, discounted deals, and more! The ice rink opens Saturday at 9AM! No reservations are required.

Long live howl-o-ween! The spooky spirit will be alive and well at Findlay Market on Sunday for the annual dog costume contest. Three judges will score the dogs based on factors such as cuteness, cleverness, and their ability to stay in costume. The top three dogs win prizes, and each pup will go home with a bag of treats from Pet Wants. Owners are encouraged to dress up with their pup. Contest registration costs $5 per dog, and spectating is free!
