DESCRIPTION:The end of Alzheimer's disease starts with us\n\nPlease join team Por Una Cura on the Walk to end Alzheimer's October 7th  at Sawyer's Point\n\n \n\nAlzheimer's is now the 6th cause of death in the US\, and Latinos are 1.5 times more likely to suffer from this terrible illness. It cannot be cured\, and it cannot be stopped. Once it attacks it can only be slowed down\, and the damage it causes cannot be reversed.\n\nPlease help us end this illness that takes our loved ones twice. Although they may survive for a long time\, we (and they) lose the person they were long before they are gone.\n\nThis year Team Por Una Cura welcomes the participation of the League of United Latin American Citizens (LULAC). We join forces to increase awareness and participation in this fund raising event. Invite your friends! Together we can beat Alzheimers!\n\n \n\nRegistration is easy\; simply visit our Walk to End Alzheimer's participant page and join our team by CLICKING HERE.
