DESCRIPTION:Please join us on Wednesday April 20\, as Brian will be performing solo jazz piano arrangements of classic Brazilian tunes\, including Sambas\, Bossa Novas\, and other stylings. Repertoire for the evening will feature popular compositions by the likes of Antonio Carlos Jobim\, and made famous by performers such as Stan Getz\, Eliane Elias\, Joao Gilberto and many others. \n\n\n\nBrian Gallagher has been active in the Cincinnati jazz community since moving from the greater New York City area where he performed professionally for over 20 years. Prior to his performing career\, Brian studied piano and music theory at the University of Kentucky. Currently\, he can be seen and heard performing locally as a member of Jazzopolis\, and with various local musicians.
