At the age of 14\, she moved to the US and lived with her dad and Cuban stepmother who introduced her to Cuban cuisine.\n\nHelen eventually got her culinary degree and worked at various restaurants in NYC. Through Chacabanas\, they are bringing these two cultures and their similar\, yet distinct cuisine together\, to provide a one of a kind experience.\n\nHelen is excited to share the unique flavors of the Cuban sandwich\, along with other Cuban and Dominican foods to Cincinnati\, and by doing so\, adding to the city's diverse food scene.
