DESCRIPTION:You are invited to participate in Cincinnati Cares? first Board Bootcamp and Connect for BIPOC Leaders!\n\n\n\nOur recent survey found that more than 85 percent of our region?s nonprofits have identified board diversity as a strategic priority but nearly 80 percent have not achieved their goals in this regard. Our Board Bootcamp and Connect for BIPOC Leaders event can help you discover nonprofits doing amazing work in Greater Cincinnati.\n\n\n\nOn November 30 from 4 PM ? 7 PM\, Cincinnati Cares will host its first Board Bootcamp and Connect event exclusively for BIPOC leaders at the Metropolitan Club.\n\n\n\nThe evening will start with a 90-minute Board Bootcamp session to include:\n\n	Results from our 2023 Nonprofit Board DEI Survey\n	Overview of all aspects of volunteer board service\n	Preparation for Board Connect event later in the evening\n\n\n\nThen\, from 5:45 PM ? 7:00PM\, we will hold a Board Connect session. Board Connect is a speed-dating style\, board-matching event where you will be able to meet with multiple nonprofit organizations matched to your interests during 15-minute intervals. We plan to have at least 25 local nonprofits in attendance. More details to come!
