This conversation kicks off a year of suffrage-related programming and seeks to illuminate the struggle and triumph of women in leadership roles. From government\, politics\, business\, higher education\, and sports\, women are shattering the glass ceiling and seeking to advance equity along the way.\n\nThe 116th Congress has the highest percentage of women members in U.S. history at 106 members. This is a reflection of change\, revealing that women are making remarkable strides to be represented and be acknowledged as leadership and decision-makers. Yet\, representation does not mean access nor does it mean that challenges do not exist. Panelists will include:\n\n\n Dr. Tammy L. Brown\, Associate Professor of Global and Intercultural Studies (Black World Studies) at Miami University\n Dr. Susan Tinsley Gooden\, Interim Dean and Professor of Public Administration and Policy at the L.
