This experience is in conjunction with the exhibition Solidarity Now! 1968 Poor People's Campaign\, which explores one of the most important grassroots movements of the civil rights era: the Poor People's Campaign of 1968. The exhibition examines the links between historic social justice movements and those taking place right now across the country and honors King's final and most ambitious dream\, the Poor People's Campaign. With newly found photographs and video content\, it encourages visitors to discover this little-known but crucial chapter in the civil rights era.\n\n\n\nOur Guest Speaker is Rev. Dr. William J. Barber II\, the President & Senior Lecturer of Repairers of the Breach\, Co-Chair of the Poor People's Campaign: A National Call for Moral Revival\; Bishop with The Fellowship of Affirming Ministries\; Visiting Professor at Union Theological Seminary\; Pastor of Greenleaf Christian Church\, Disciples of Christ in Goldsboro\, NC\, for the past 29 years\, and Professor in the Practice Theology and Public Policy and Founding Director of the Center for Public Theology and public Policy at Yale Divinity School.\n\n\n\nVirtual: Instructions and livestream link are provided on your print at home tickets.
