DESCRIPTION:The gala will include a dinner of authentic Caribbean cuisine\, a silent auction\, door prize drawings\, and entertainment to showcase the successes of TSQ and Operation Smile.\n\nDEAR POTENTIAL SPONSOR\,\n\nWe hope you will join us as a sponsor for a very special and important event\, the 2nd Annual Gala De La Diversidad. On Thursday\, October 25\, 2018 at 6:00pm\, The Sound of Quisqueya\, a 501(c)3 non-profit corporation\, along with sponsors like you\, will host this event at the Oscar Event Center - Jungle Jim's in Fairfield\, Ohio.\n\nProceeds from the gala will go to Operation Smile\, an international medical charity that has provided hundreds of thousands of free surgeries for children and young adults in developing countries who are born with cleft lip\, cleft palate or other facial deformities. It is one of the oldest and largest volunteer-based organizations dedicated to improving the health and lives of children worldwide through access to surgical care.\n\n\n\nFounded and based in Virginia\, U.S.\, Operation Smile has extended its global reach to more than 60 countries through its network of credentialed surgeons\, pediatricians\, doctors\, nurses\, and student volunteers.\n\n\n\nThe gala will include a dinner of authentic Caribbean cuisine\, a silent auction\, door prize drawings\, and entertainment to showcase the successes of TSQ and Operation Smile. We expect 100-150 adults in attendance\, primarily from the Greater Cincinnati metro area. Our supporter network includes many prominent business and community leaders.\n\n\n\nThe enclosed materials provide details about sponsorship opportunities. We also welcome donations for the event auction.
