This extraordinary program celebrates the remarkable talents of Miami University's student musicians\, highlighting the winners of both the Concerto Competition and the Composition Competition.\n\n\n\nDate: Wednesday\, March 5\, 2025\n\nTime: 7:30 PM\n\nLocation: Hall Auditorium\, Miami University\, Oxford\, OH\n\n\n\nProgram Highlights\n\nThe evening begins with an exhilarating showcase of Concerto Compeon winners:\n\n  Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart   Piano Concerto No. 12 in A Major\, K. 414 (1st movement: Allegro) featuring pianist Ee Ning Chong.\n\n  Edward Elgar   Cello Concerto in E Minor\, Op. 85 (4th movement) with cellist Ellio Watras.\n\n  Are Shaw   Concerto for Clarinet\, performed by clarinetist Max Tumbleson.\n\n\n\nFollowing a brief intermission\, the program transitions to innovative works by Miami student and faculty composers and iconic masterpieces:\n\n  Gabe Hardman   TBA (winner of the Composition Compeon).\n\n  Phillip Roberts   Hocket Rocket.
