Works by three supreme musical storytellers\, Bernstein\, Copland and Williams\, vividly depict Voltaire's young optimist Candide\, the everyday lives of the citizens of Grover's Corners in Our Town\, the struggles of a 1930s Midwestern farm family in The Tender Land\, and the action-packed thrills of the crime caper Catch Me If You Can.
