DESCRIPTION:Whether it's a personal loss or more of a shared event (911\, the passing of Prince or the ELECTION) coping or the inability to\, can impact the workplace.  When should HR be supportive in helping employees cope with life's challenges and when do we have the "get over it" conversation.  This presentation will involve our student members and role playing the various steps of moving through the grieving process.\n\n \n\nLearning Objectives:\n\n\n	How to recognize and allow for the natural reaction individuals have to events.\n	Understanding that just because something isn't an issue to you\, it may be an issue to someone else.\n	Spotting problems that are deeper than what you see.\n	Ways to ensure that you maintain open lines of communication.\n	Identifying when you may have the problem.\n	Leading your employee/organization beyond the challenge.\n	Helping employees become stronger\, so that they are prepared to deal with an issue before it occurs.\n	How to get the focus back on performance.\n\n\nFinding and identifying resources before situations arise.
