This will be the first total solar eclipse in the continental United States in nearly 40 years\, stretching from Salem\, Oregon to Charleston\, South Carolina. Cincinnati will see a partial eclipse\, where the moon covers part of the sun\, and the Library has all of the information that you need to get eclipse-ready!\n\nLearn about the eclipse and get safe viewing tips from NASA and the Cincinnati Observatory.\n\nThen plan to attend an eclipse event!\n\nSolar Eclipse 101 Getting ready for the solar eclipse? Join the Cincinnati Observatory to learn about the eclipse\, how to view safely\, and get your free pair of eclipse glasses\, while supplies last. Sponsored by NASA @ My Library.
