2018 Hispanic Heritage Festival (Dayton, OH)
Day-long celebration of Hispanic culture at RiverScape MetroPark, in the heart of Downtown Dayton! This event kicks off Hispanic Heritage Month! Starting at noon (12pm), the Parade will travel through Downtown Dayton into the Festival at RiverScape MetroPark. There will be live music, dancing, entertainment, and authentic Latin food all day (11am-11pm), children's activities area (until 5pm), and much, much more! You won't want to miss it! Hope you can join us!
Rika Swing will be this year's headliner! The full entertainment lineup, list of food vendors, and other activities of interest will be announced as they become available/confirmed. Stay tuned!
The 2018 Hispanic Heritage Festival benefits PACO - The Puerto Rican, American and Caribbean Organization in Dayton, OH. PACO is a non-profit organization dedicated to the successful of the Hispanic community in the Dayton area. This Festival is PACO's largest fundraiser of the year and it enables PACO to fulfill its mission through scholarships to local Hispanic students, events to support the local Hispanic community and promote Hispanic culture, and other charitable initiatives. PACO is entirely ran by volunteers - contact us if you'd like to volunteer at this Festival or other PACO events!
In addition, we will be holding the Dayton Hispanic Heritage Parade starting at 12:00 PM going from 2nd Street & Jefferson to Patterson then to Riverscape Metropark. If your group wants to march in the parade, contact Karla the Parade coordinator karlaknox@msn.com
