23rd Annual Diversity Networking Reception

The Career Development Center, in conjunction with the University of Cincinnati's ADVANCE Student Organization, extends an invitation to you to attend the 23rd Annual Diversity Networking Reception on Tuesday, September 25th at the University of Cincinnati’s Tangeman University Center from 6:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. ADVANCE, an organization that provides professional development opportunities for Minority students, promotes the successful transition from college to the work environment by developing and enhancing skills in resume writing, interviewing, networking, business etiquette, and an awareness of corporate/workforce cultures.

The ADVANCE Networking reception was created by students in ADVANCE over Twenty Three years ago as a pre-career fair activity to market activities related to the Diversity Career Fair, and to promote students’ understanding of "The Art of Networking." Over the years, this highly successful event has benefited both students and employers. As an employer you will gain early access to students who may be sourced for future full-time, co-op/internship jobs. It is also a great means for your organization to promote your unique opportunities to a diverse and talented pool of students. Students in turn benefit from your experience and perspectives as they practice effective networking skills.
