GYBO: Help With Getting Your Business Online
Small business owners: Did you know that 97 percent of Internet users look online for local products and services? Are you succeeding in finding customers and boosting sales through online marketing?
Dayton GYBO is a morning summit designed to help your small business establish and/or improve sales through websites, e-commerce and social media. It is scheduled for Tuesday, April 29, from 8:00 a.m. to noon, at the University of Dayton River Campus, 1700 S. Patterson Blvd.
The event will include networking opportunities, panel discussions featuring entrepreneurs who have succeeded in building online business, and presentations by marketing and technology professionals.
Dayton GYBO is Dayton's own production of Google's Get Your Business Online campaign, launched in 2013 as a means of encouraging local businesses to use the Internet in reaching business goals. It is presented by the City of Dayton, with support from sponsors including the University of Dayton and Time-Warner Cable.
Mayor Nan Whaley is encouraging small business owners and operators to attend Dayton GYBO.
