H-100 Meeting
Last October 6, the H-100 team and its members met to re-launch the H-100 program "Hispanics Supporting the Community" and initiative intended to bring together Hispanic volunteers in the Cincinnati metro area to contribute to our community. This meeting followed intense work the H-100 design team put over the Summer to create the infrastructure necessary to support and grow this initiative.
We had a very good meeting. The essence of the meeting included the review of the H-100 website (now in beta phase), and a discussion about specific next steps H-100 members can take to begin reviewing opportunities for volunteering as received from a number of local institutions. We also had a couple of presentations from University Health and NSHMBA on the kinds of volunteer openings they have.

Our next H-100 meeting will take place on Tuesday November 9 at 6:00 pm at the Baldwin building (Eden Park 655.) At our next meeting, we expect to finalize details of the website, the formation of Affinity Groups and a progress report on social media alternatives, in addition to a couple of presentations from other affinity groups, maybe the Arts/Culture and Serving the Community.
We encourage other Hispanic friends to apply for inclusion in our group. We sense this effort is taking shape and will allow us to achieve our ultimate objective to engage the Hispanic community to help create a better Cincinnati.
