Intersecting Paths: Cincinnati Artists and Cinco de Mayo
In association with the Hispanic Chamber Cincnnati USA and a celebration of Cinco de Mayo, we invite you to a sneak preview exhibition of Hispanic and Southwestern inspired art for the outdoors at Caza Sikes on Friday, May 4th from 5-9 PM.
This teaser show for our major September month-long exhibition features 5 exceptional Cincinnati artists: Jan Brown Checco, Karen Heyl, Kymber Henson Csw, Nancy Hopkins Designs and Terri Kern Studios. Garden elements provided by Michelle Andersen of Flourish by Design.
Margaritas and hispanic-inspired food will be served.
Opening night will feature a short talk by Hispanic Chamber keynote speaker, Alma Martinez Bartos, on the real meaning of Cinco de Mayo. Did you know that more than half of the population in the country thinks that Mexicans celebrate their Independence Day on May 5th? Alma's presentation will start at 6:00 PM.
See art works on loan exclusively to Caza Sikes by the Mexican Consulate in Indianapolis. Join us for the exhibit, Alma's presentation, and toast the members of our community.
