Juneteenth Weekend 2022
Through permanent and traveling exhibits, the National Underground Railroad Freedom Center shares the stories of freedom’s heroes, from the era of the Underground Railroad to contemporary times, challenging and inspiring us all. Come see what’s new!
35th Annual Juneteenth Festival
950 Eden Park Dr, Cincinnati, OH 45202
Noon to 9 p.m.
Freedom Center volunteers will be present sharing resources about genealogy and our John Parker Library and Family Search Center
Freedom Center Scholarship Ceremony
50 E Freedom Way, Cincinnati, OH 45202 - Harriet Tubman Theater
2 p.m.
The Freedom Center asked high school seniors: “what kind of ancestor will you be?” Submissions had to be in the form of a two-minute video that explained the lesson future generations will learn from their story. The Freedom Center is less concerned with students’ past actions, but wants to know their intentions for the future. Join us in celebrating the finalists! Supported by PNC Bank.
