About the event:
Karine Martimbianco introduces Brazilian Breeze: an evening into the Brazilian Universe of samba and bossa nova.
The Brazilian singer Karine Martimbianco proposes a wide Brazilian repertoire including the classics Bossa Novas by Antonio Carlos Jobim, mixing with Sambas songs of Paulinho da Viola and Dorival Caymmi and many other popular Brazilian composers like Caetano Veloso, Chico Buarque, Gilberto Gil, Milton Nascimento, etc.
Karine Martimbianco was born in Divinolândia, São Paulo. Studied in the State University of Campinas (Unicamp) and played in renewed stages such as São Pedro Theater (São Paulo-BR), Teatro Castro Mendes (Campinas São Paulo). Karine arrived to Cincinnati only last year and she has already captivated a very diverse public in the Latin music scene of Cincinnati.
In this first time at Che! Karine will be performing with her trio: Karine (lead voice) Rob Kokochac (guitar) and Juan Megna (percussion).
