Navigating the CARES Act and the Transition Back to Work
COVID-19: Expert Panel Discussion with Q+A
The recent Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act has impacted nearly every business and community in our country. This legislation has made significant changes to policy, boosted health care spending, and provided direct aid to key sectors of our economy. But it has also raised a lot of questions and confusion, especially for employers. Controlling the virus will take time, as will economic recovery as we gradually make the transition back to work.
Join U.S. Senator Sherrod Brown and Queen City Certified for a virtual panel on June 3, 2020 @ 2:00 PM ET to discuss how employers can effectively navigate the CARES Act to ensure a safe and healthy transition back to work. This event will address issues and answer questions regarding the impact of the CARES Act on our region’s employers—with a focus on small to midsize organizations—as well as emerging best practices for ensuring fairness and equity for employees and customers alike as we manage this complex transition.
This event will feature opening remarks from Senator Brown, followed by an expert panel discussion and Q+A featuring:
Brian Griffin
Director of Communication
American Federation of Labor & Congress of Industrial Organizations (AFL-CIO)
