Rico Grant and Ray Ball, Co-Founders of Paloozanoire, are excited to announce that Black & Brown Faces will be returning this spring In collaboration with the Cincinnati Art Museum. The inaugural exhibition commissioned ten Black artists who depicted the extremes of 2020 with the hopes of initiating a healing process due to the unfortunate series of events experienced throughout the year.
In its return, Black & Brown Faces: Paying Homage To, expands to include 15 Midwestern artists of color, each recognizing 15 sung and unsung Cincinnati leaders, all individuals of color driving change in their community, disrupting the norm, and lifting others through their work. Each artist will create their interpretation of a portrait to pay homage to these honorees. The 2022 Black & Brown Faces art exhibition opens Friday, March 25, 2022, in the Schiff Gallery at the Cincinnati Art Museum.
