Physical literacy is the mastering of fundamental movement and sport skills that permit a child to read their environment and make appropriate decisions, giving them the ability, confidence, and desire to be physically active throughout life.
Derek Roylance, Physical Therapy Orthopedic Resident with Cincinnati Children's Division of Occupational Therapy and Physical Therapy, will speak on the importance of helping children develop the skills and confidence necessary to make healthy choices.
