APRIL 27, 2012 - 6PM to 8PM
April is a popular month for health observances, including National Minority Health Awareness Month.
The future health of our community will be determined largely, by how effectively we work as a community to eliminate health disparities amongst minorities experiencing a disproportionate burden of disease, disability and death.
This awareness event will allow us to share the history and the future of minority health in our community, as it relates to volunteer blood donations and bone marrow transplants.
Through the expressions of art in the form of; dance, spoken word and music; we will be able to communicate to those in attendance the need to become volunteer blood donors and to join the BeTheMatch (national marrow donor program); helping in the vital missions to address and eliminate health disparities.
PLEASE FORWARD ME YOUR MAILING ADDRESS, SO THAT A FORMAL INVITATION CAN BE SENT TO YOU IN THE WEEKS TO COME, PROVIDING YOU ALSO WITH INFORMATION ON HOW TO RSVP FOR THE EVENT!
WHO WILL YOU SAVE....?
