StartUpCincy Summer Soiree
Alloy Growth Lab is presenting the first annual StartUpCincy Summer Soiree July 28th from 4pm - 7pm at 1775 Mentor Ave (FREE parking at location). The event is a celebration of Cincinnati's robust business ecosystem through a night of networking, music (DJ Monet), pickleball with Nettie, cornhole, and, of course, good food (Pata Roja Tacos), beer (Bircus Brewery), and wine (Really Good Boxed Wine). The location is a grassy field behind Alloys Norwood campus, with plenty of parking.
At 4pm the event will kick off with an announcement of upcoming ecosystem events in Cincinnati, followed by quick introductions from partners. Information stations for ecosystem partners (Cintrifuse, MBAC, Blue North, UC 1819 Makers Space, Flywheel Social Enterprise Hub, Main Street Ventures) will be set up so guests can interact from 4-5. From 5-7 a DJ Monet will be spinning fire beats to get the vibe going. The event is open to anyone interested in learning more about local business accelerators and incubators, coworking spaces, and diverse founder community.
The event aims to remain as zero waste as possible and encourages participants to bring their own water bottles to refill. We have partnered with goZero and Responsible Products for composting. All bookings receive a raffle for: 1 of 5 limited edition Ripple Water bottles, proceeds of which go to building a well in Namagera Africa, a custom dress by The Scribble Society, pickle ball set by Nettie.
