The coronavirus pandemic provides an excellent example of the importance of health policy decisions made at the state level. Having access to data helps inform state-level decision-making and allows for targeted efforts to improve population health. Further, analysis of variations within states requires nuanced approaches that target specific efforts based on location.
Attendees will learn about new, easier-to-use features of the redesigned Online Analysis and Statistical Information System, a free web-based tool that gives the public access to health and social sciences data.
