From the EPA’s recent proposal to reduce 2014 biofuels targets to pending congressional legislation on the issue, activity and conversation surrounding the U.S. ethanol policy known as the Renewable Fuel Standard (RFS) continues to mount. This event will explore motivations behind efforts to reform the RFS―and panelists will discuss the breadth of issues surrounding ethanol policy, including its impact on global hunger, food and fuel prices, the environment, and engines.
