Mr. Shantanu Khosla is a graduate in Mechanical Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Mumbai, and an MBA from Indian Institute of Management – Calcutta (IIMC – 1982).
He began his career with Richardson Hindustan Limited (which now stands merged into Procter & Gamble) in 1983 as a Management Trainee in Marketing, culminating in successfully heading several Business Units of P&G worldwide. He served as the General Manager of P&G’s Malaysia and Singapore operations. During his 27 years with the Company, Shantanu had experiences of two different regions (Western Europe and Asia) and lived in 5 different countries. Mr. Khosla presently is the Managing Director and CEO of three P&G subsidiaries in India, of which two of them are listed on the stock exchanges.
Mr. Khosla is the Chairman of the FMCG Committee, Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry and serves as a Board Member of The Advertising Standards Council of India. He has spearheaded initiatives in the Indian Society of Advertisers (ISA) and Organization of Pharmaceutical Producers of India, relating to advertising and marketing. Mr. Khosla is married to Latika and has a son, Rishabh, and a daughter, Simran.
