Musicians, authors, chefs, and other personalities support United Way of Greater Cincinnati’s COVID-19 relief efforts. A complete list is available at United4Cincy.com.
Telethon viewers can support United Way of Greater Cincinnati’s long-term COVID-19 recovery and revitalization efforts by texting U4C to 71777. Donations will fund direct relief to residents in a 10-county region in Southwest Ohio, Southeast Indiana, and Northern Kentucky.
United Way initially teamed with Greater Cincinnati Foundation to raise more than $5 million for a rapid response to COVID-19 suffering. Now, UWGC will lead to recovery and revitalization efforts throughout the region.
“The need for relief is greater yet, and recovery and revitalization are long-term efforts,” said Moira Weir, United Way of Greater Cincinnati’s President/CEO. “United Way is uniquely positioned to harness the collective power of a variety of community entities and assets to make donor dollars go farther and have a greater impact. We are fortunate and thankful to have the trust and support of event organizers and contributors. Friday will be a wonderful night of entertainment that helps provide direct relief to so many of our community’s families.”
The event is being organized by a group of Cincinnatians, including members of G&B Strategies and NuVoodoo Media Services, LLC.
