Discover the stories held within family photographs and personal media in this hands-on workshop led by Arabeth Balasko, Curator of Photographs, Prints, & Media.
Participants will learn how to safely handle, preserve, and interpret photographs, prints, and other visual materials while uncovering the narratives they tell about family, community, and history. Through guided exercises and discussion, the session explores how individual images connect to broader social and historical contexts and offers practical tools for documenting, preserving, and sharing visual stories for future generations.
