GENERAL FUNCTION:
Performs as a lead processor and auditor for daily productivity-based functions and quality tracking scores, for processes related to the Consumer, Mortgage and Commercial File room and Vault. Creates pools and contracts for government agencies. Tracks, organizes and files notes within governmental guidelines.

Responsible and accountable for risk by openly exchanging ideas and opinions, elevating concerns, and personally following policies and procedures as defined. Accountable for always doing the right thing for customers and colleagues, and ensures that actions and behaviors drive a positive customer experience. While operating within the Bank's risk appetite, achieves results by consistently identifying, assessing, managing, monitoring, and reporting risks of all types.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Build and maintain government Investor Pools and Contracts.
  • Track and execute release documents in accordance with Investor guidelines.
  • Conduct quality checks on employees and report findings to management team.
  • Remain up to date on all investor guideline changes and procedure adaptations.
  • Prepares for investor audits by generating reports and performing due diligence on loan pools to investors.
  • Enter and verify data into computer.
  • Knowledgeable on all processes related to Consumer, Mortgage and Commercial Vault activity.
  • Populate reports and update systems when needed.
  • Operate desk top image machine in order to produce imaged documents for requests.
  • Maintain both quality and productivity spreadsheets on a daily basis.
  • Tasked with improving service levels and communication with various lines of business.
  • Resolve most problems, referring only the most complex requests to the management team.
  • Inspect completed work to ensure requisite quality has been attained.
  • Train new and existing employees on departmental procedures.
  • Assist in pulling and certifying files for accounts sales, government audits, etc.
  • Recognize problem areas in quality and work with management to resolve issues.
  • Meet and maintain production and quality standards for Consumer, Mortgage and Commercial File room and Vault activities.
  • Communicate issues, as needed, to management team.
  • Perform all work in accordance with established safety procedures.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned.


SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

None.

MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • High school diploma or equivalent. Some college preferred.
  • 1 year of relevant experience.
  • Must understand and be able to perform every function within the department.
  • Must be able to work efficiently in DokTrak, Ace, Mortgage Serv, UniFi, and Nautilus.
  • Good verbal and written communication, spelling, grammar and typing skills.
  • Good organization skills, attention to details, self motivated.
  • Good numerical organization skills, problem solving skills.
  • Intermediate PC skills (Excel, Word, Access, and Outlook).
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment.
