Position Summary:

Our payroll team is seeking a talented and enthusiastic Sr. Payroll Specialist. We are looking for an engaged, customer focused, and process minded individual.  This position will be responsible for the accurate processing and recording of all U.S. payrolls.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
  • Manage workflow to ensure all payroll transactions are processed accurately and timely.
  • Maintain data integrity of the outsourced model of the ADP Vantage payroll engine.
  • Reconcile payroll and validate report data prior to payroll transmission.
  • Understand proper taxation set-up in ADP Vantage and partner with ADP Tax Services to resolve payroll tax issues.
  • Enter any necessary data changes into ADP.
  • Partner with ADP Garnishment Services to insure accuracy of garnishments and to resolve garnishment issues.
  • Upload and process ADP Vantage E-time into payroll.
  • Assist in executing the year end payroll and W-2 process.
  • Reconciliation of payroll-based accounts.
  • An in-depth knowledge of outsourced versions of e-Time, and ADP Vantage is required.
  • The ability to make payroll process improvements/increase efficiency is required.
  • This position requires organization and the ability to prioritize and multi-task projects.
  • A broad knowledge of payroll related federal and state regulations is required.
  • The ability to deal sensitively with confidential information is required.
  • The ability to communicate (verbal and written) effectively and efficiently with all-levels of team members in a confidential manner is required.
  • A customer service, teamwork, accuracy, and strong attention to detail mindset is required.
  • The ability to work outside normal work day hours when needed is required.
  • Strong PC aptitude and analytical skills, including high level spreadsheet capabilities (Excel) is required.
  • A minimum of seven to ten years of multi-state payroll experience is required.
  • High school diploma or GED is required. 
  • Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) is greatly preferred. 
Up to 5% travel may be required.
