The Graduate Business Program Office of the Williams College of Business is seeking a Director of WCB Graduate Program Recruitment for the on-campus programs of MBA (evening, full-time, and online) Accounting, and Customer Analytics.

The Director of WCB Graduate Program Recruitment would be responsible for the following:

  • The sustained, yearly enrollment growth of graduate business students into the in-person and online graduate school programs of the WCB.
  • Participate in the development of and oversee the execution of a comprehensive recruitment plan that clearly articulates the admission goals, strategies and tactics to build the applicant pool and meet established recruitment goals, including inquiries, applicants and matriculants of desired quality and quantity for Graduate Business programs.
  • Identify and develop new recruitment markets, trends, and opportunities.
  • In collaboration with the graduate business program directors, the Office of the Graduate School, and other stakeholders, review, update and/or develop a strategic communication plan for prospective students and other key constituencies.
  • Develop corporate and university partnerships and recruitment strategies to support ongoing applicant referrals.
  • Maintain and increase the database of prospects and applicants to increase effectiveness and identify trends.
  • Work with the graduate program directors, the Office of the Graduate School, and Xavier's Marketing and Communication Office to establish communication and marketing materials via the WCB website and other electronic, print and other media outlets. Participate in external meetings and networking events in support of program development.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited four year University; MBA or Master of Higher Education Degree preferred
  • Track record of successful business development experience and demonstrated use of social media in support of professional goals

Experience:

  • Three to five years of progressive experience in a position where business development was a primary responsibility
  • Demonstrated mastery of software platforms and experience with Slate, Banner, Canvas, preferred

Required: Ability to travel and work flexible hours with some evenings/weekends required.

This position is a salaried, fixed term position for three years.  Growth in enrollment will be charted and reviewed regularly.  If proven track record of increased student admission and registrations is established, position will be considered for permanent addition to the WCB.
