Job Title: Assistant Lecturer/Assistant Teaching Professor
Assistant Lecturer/Assistant Teaching Professor with expertise in PK-5 Reading and Literacy. Responsibilities include teaching undergraduate courses, facilitate course-related field experiences; advise undergraduate students and provide service to the University, Department, Community and Profession.
- Master’s in Education or closely related field by date of appointment with administrative and/or teaching experience in the PK-5 environment for appointment as an Assistant Lecturer. An appointment as an Assistant Teaching Professor requires a Doctorate in Education or closely related field by date of appointment with administrative and/or teaching experience in the PK-5 environment.
- Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States on a fulltime and indefinite basis.
- Consideration may be given to candidates with experience teaching and advising non-traditional students; participation in related state and national professional organizations; experience in interpreting and implementing state mandated standards; experience teaching face to face and online; integration of technology in classroom practices; teaching in culturally diverse settings.
