Job Summary:
Assistant Professor (tenure-track) in Biological Sciences to teach general biology, courses in organismal biology or diversity, and/or area of expertise at the Hamilton Campus, maintain an active research program and seek extramural funding, advise students, and provide service to the institution and profession. Appointment begins fall semester 2023.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Ph.D. in Biology or closely related field by date of appointment.
Desired Qualifications:
Consideration may be given to candidates with postdoctoral experience and/or prior teaching experience at the college level; a biologist who explores mechanisms that underlie animal diversity or behavior at any level of biological organization, while also teaching courses within their area of expertise; will have research interests that complement those of current faculty and that show potential for research collaborations with other Miami biologists.
