Job Title: Assistant Profess - East Asian History
Assistant Professor (tenure-track) to teach/in East Asian History teaching undergraduate and graduate courses, including participation in survey teaching, conducting research, providing service to the department and university, and advising students. Appointment begins in the fall of 2023.
- Ph.D. in History or closely related discipline by date of appointment (ABDs may apply but all degree requirements must be completed by date of appointment).
- Consideration may be given to candidates with promising research agenda in any area of East Asian history; ability to teach surveys of world history, upper-level curriculum in East Asian History, and courses in area of specialty; willingness to serve the department and university; evidence of teaching effectiveness may include teaching evaluations, sample syllabi, and/or a statement of teaching philosophy.
