Purpose of Position
The Department of Psychological Science at Northern Kentucky University invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position in Neuroscience beginning August 2022.

Primary Responsibilities
The successful candidate will teach undergraduate courses in Biopsychology (including a laboratory component), Animal Learning, Research Methods in Psychology, Introduction to Psychology, and other areas in their expertise. Candidates will teach a combination of in-person and online courses. Preference will be given to applicants who can provide evidence of effective teaching in undergraduate psychology classes.

Qualifications
Candidates must have a Ph.D. in a Psychology discipline related to Behavioral or Cognitive Neuroscience by time of appointment. Candidates should be strongly committed to teaching at the undergraduate level. 

Candidates will also maintain an active research agenda with undergraduate involvement in an area of psychology related to neuroscience. 

In this position, the candidate will also serve on department, College and University committees.
