Job Title: Assistant Professor
Assistant Professor to teach undergraduate and graduate courses in statistics and data science; conduct methodological and collaborative research leading to publication and external funding; provide academic advising; provide service to the institution and the profession. Position starts August, 2022.
- Ph.D. in statistics, biostatistics, or data science by date of appointment.
- Consideration may be given to candidates with research expertise complementing the expertise of department faculty and/or to candidates who can teach modern statistics computing tools (such as Python, Spark, Hadoop, etc.) for large datasets. Candidates in all statistical specialties are invited to apply for this position.
