Job Title: Assistant Professor (tenure-track)
Assistant Professor (tenure-track) in Biological Sciences to teach courses in general biology, anatomy and/or physiology, and/or area of expertise; maintain an active research program and seek extramural funding; advise students; and provide service to the institution and profession beginning fall semester 2023.
- Ph.D. in Biology or closely related field by date of appointment.
- Consideration may be given to candidates with postdoctoral experience and/or prior teaching experience at the college level. The ideal candidate will be a cell or environmental physiologist interested in teaching physiology for biology majors and anatomy & physiology to nursing majors, while also teaching other courses within their area of expertise. They will have research interests that complement those of current faculty and that show potential for research collaborations with other Miami biologists.
