Xavier College of Nursing seeks a director for its Doctor of Nursing Practice Program in Population Health Leadership.  The Program Director is a principal faculty member and participates in the mission of the University through teaching, scholarship, and service. The Program Director participates in shared governance at Xavier University and as principal faculty is held to established norms in the performance of their regular assignments including curriculum development, instruction, research, faculty status, and aspects of student life that relate directly to the educational process and mission of the University. 

QUALIFICATIONS
Possesses a current, unencumbered license to practice as a registered nurse in Ohio.  The Program Director has a master’s degree in nursing and is required to have an earned Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree or another doctoral degree in a related field.  Previous experience for at least seven years in the practice of nursing as a registered nurse is required with two of those years as a faculty member in a professional nursing program. Evidence of skills in administration, curriculum development, and online teaching are required. Experience with online pedagogy, including educational technology tools and online course design and development, is preferred.
