Assistant Professor as The Lance and Diane White Assistant Professorship in Entrepreneurship (tenure track) to teach entrepreneurship; maintain an active research program and publish in highly regarded management and entrepreneurship journals; advise students; and provide service to the institution. Appointment begins Fall 2022.
The Department of Entrepreneurship combines strong academic scholarship and rigorous theoretical and empirical research with immersive, practice-based learning opportunities for students in startup and venture capital, social entrepreneurship and impact investing, corporate innovation and technology commercialization, and creativity and entrepreneurial thinking. Ph.D. in entrepreneurship or related field of study by date of appointment.
Consideration may be given to candidates with a proficiency in empirical research in the field of entrepreneurship; a commitment to excellence in teaching high-quality undergraduate and graduate entrepreneurship courses; or the ability and desire to conduct empirical entrepreneurship research for publication in highly-regarded refereed management and/or entrepreneurship journals; with interest and ability to teach courses in entrepreneurship and in their field of research at both the undergraduate and Master’s level.
