Visiting Assistant Professor to teach courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels across several degree programs but especially those focused on Socio-cultural Foundations of Education. Successful candidates may be asked to work with students at the undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral levels. The appointment is for the 2023-24 academic year. Appointment begins August, 2023. The position is renewable contingent on performance and funding.
- Doctorate in Socio-Cultural Foundations of Education, Educational Leadership, Education Policy, Curriculum and Instruction, or closely related field by date of appointment.
- Consideration may be given to candidates with knowledge of and experience with initiatives in the areas of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion; engagement with anti-racist, anti-oppressive, culturally responsive and sustaining pedagogies; experience teaching hybrid or fully online as well as face-to-face courses. Scholarly productivity and university teaching experience is highly desired as well.
