Visiting Assistant Professor/Instructor to teach in Family Science and Social Work. Nine months, non-tenure track position appointment begins August 21, 2023, for the fall semester of the 2023-2024 academic year.
- Ph.D. in Family Science or Social Work or closely related field by date of appointment for appointment as Visiting Assistant Professor; Master’s (or ABD) in Family Science or Social Work or closely related field by date of appointment for appointment as Instructor.
- Consideration may be made for candidates with demonstrated commitment to social justice and anti-oppression in teaching and practice, applied professional experience, including but not limited to a minimum two years practice experience post master’s degree achievement; those holding the designation as a Certified Family Life Educator, Certified Child Life Specialist, or licensed (e.g., LSW, LISW, LISW-S) social worker; and experience teaching hybrid or fully online as well as face-to-face courses.
