Job Summary:
Visiting Faculty (multiple positions) to teach on a per-course basis one to two courses (one in Japanese language and/or one on Japanese Film, in English) in Fall Semester 2023. Courses to be taught face-to-face or online depending on need and availability. Ability to teach online limited to specific states. Course assignments are made on a semester basis.
Minimum Qualifications:
B.A. degree in East Asian Studies/Japanese or a closely related field with a minimum of two years of relevant professional experience. Native or near native fluency in Japanese and English.
Desired Qualifications:
Consideration may be given to candidates with a M.A. degree in East Asian Studies/Japanese or a closely related field with a minimum of two years of relevant professional experience. Consideration may be given to candidates with teaching experience.
