Job Title: Associate Auditor or Senior Associate Auditor
Salary/Grade: $55000 - $75000
Hours Per Week: 40

Job Summary:
Conducts internal audits in accordance with internal auditing policies, procedures, and accepted auditing standards. Reports to the Chief Audit Officer.

Duties/Physical Demands:

  • Conduct internal audits in accordance with internal auditing policies, procedures, and
  • accepted auditing standards.
  • Analyze records, systems and processes while performing operational, compliance, financial,
  • or IT related audits.
  • Perform work to accomplish investigative and advisory services.
  • Assess risk and evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls.
  • Make recommendations for improving internal controls, processes, and procedures.
  • Support the audit process through planning audit activities, performing the audit plan,
  • preparing work papers, reporting findings, and making recommendations for improvement.
  • Provide input on audit plan activities.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Senior Associate Auditors also assist the Chief Audit Officer in the work direction of Associate and Student Auditors.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Business upon hire, such as Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, Business Administration, etc.
Bachelor's degree in an unrelated field and a Master's degree in Business upon hire, such as Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, Business Administration, etc.

For consideration as Senior Associate Auditor the candidate must also have a minimum of 3 years' auditing experience, including experience in serving as a lead auditor.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Professional certification as a Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Certified Public Accountant (CPA), or Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA). If the candidate is not certified upon hire, at least one of these certifications is required within two years of employment.

  • Proficient with common business applications such as MS Excel and Word.

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks.

For consideration as Senior Associate Auditor the candidate must also be able to perform job duties independently with little or no supervision.
