The Landscape Team Member Entry is a full-time position that performs a variety of landscaping activities including, but not limited to; planting (perennials, shrubs, trees, and grasses), weeding, digging, spreading topsoil and other materials, general lawn maintenance, seasonal lawn preparation (Fall-Spring clean-up), and hardscape construction for residential and commercial clients in the greater Dayton area. Hardscape construction work includes digging holes and trenches, excavating for hardscaping features, and hauling or spreading topsoil, gravel, sand, mulch, or other materials. The Landscape Team Member Entry will also apply landscaping products and treatments under the direction of a licensed commercial applicator.
No landscaping construction field experience is required. A high school diploma or /GED, the ability to read and write in English, and the willingness and ability to work weekends and overtime hours as needed is required. Must have a sense of pride in quality work and must be dependable and cooperative with the ability to work efficiently and effectively with other team members. After 90 days, a review will be conducted with possible promotion to Team Member.
