Miami University (Oxford, OH) is hiring a Web Design Librarian. This is a continuing contract position subject to the Libraries promotion and continuing contract requirements.
- The Web Design Librarian will develop and maintain virtual Library research tools; provide library instruction in multiple modes in support of discovery and research tools; provide project leadership re: visual design skills in website development; provide project leadership re: website responsive design; provide support for usability studies; provide statistical support in regard to evaluation of website success (e.g. Crazyegg, Google Analytics); provide coding support in development of Library web services; participate in a team environment with members of the Library Systems Department; provide graphic design support in implementation of accessibility standards; build good working relationships with members of the Libraries staff as well as with the greater university community; work creatively, collaboratively and effectively in both group situations and independently; perform other related duties as assigned.
