Tomorrow, the UC Health Ice Rink presented by Fifth Third Bank is getting an extra dose of sweetness for Love Skate from 5 to 8PM. In addition to ice skating—a classic date night activity—the event will also feature some of downtown’s Black-owned businesses inside the WGU Warming Tent. Guests can visit Moreau Sewing Unlimited’s “Piece of my Heart” activation to participate in a sentimental couples craft and create a delicious masterpiece at the “Sweets for my Sweet” mini cake station hosted by Cora’s Cakery! Access to all special activations is included in the cost of ice rink admission. Check Valentine’s Day date planning off your to-do list!

Run your heart out! Sunday morning, show your love for exercising at the annual Couple Shuffle 2-mile, 5k, and 10k races! Whether you're sprinting with your sweetheart or jogging solo, this Valentine-themed race promises a heart-pounding good time. Runners of all ages will be treated to a riverfront course sprinkled with fun photo opportunities and a finish line filled with sweet treats and high-fives. All participants will also score a vibrantly colored conversation heart tee shirt and a special finisher’s medal. Packet pickup begins at 7:30AM at Sawyer Point, and the races step off at 9AM. Participants can make a date out of tasting their way down the list of participating merchants who will highlight the beautiful balance between sweet and savory in their one-of-a-kind samples. The day is also packed with Cupid-approved and family-friendly programming, including live music at Jane’s, children’s coloring and valentine-making activities, a photo booth, a scavenger hunt, and more! The event is from 10AM to 4PM, and tasting tickets are sold in bundles!
