Juneteenth is a time for reflection, celebration and cultural appreciation — and there are many ways to celebrate this week in Cincinnati! Joy and community were the hallmarks of the earliest Juneteenth celebrations, bringing people together around music, food, and friends. Tomorrow, beginning at 10AM at the National Underground Railroad Freedom Center, join your neighbors for a Juneteenth Jubilee featuring live music, food trucks, family activities, and a community market where you can shop small and support local businesses. Guests can also enjoy free museum admission thanks to the generous support of the Fifth Third Foundation. Experience drop-in programming and mini tours for guests of all ages.

The city’s biggest and most anticipated celebration returns for its 6th year this Saturday! From 4PM - 11PM at The Banks, come out for Paloozanoire’s Juneteenth Block Party! This year’s celebration will feature a stacked lineup of top DJs, a reimagined Family Zone experience, and the highly anticipated return of the Homecoming Experience — a tribute to fraternities, sororities, and alumni organizations, with special recognition of the Divine 9. Don’t miss this vibrant, inclusive tribute to culture, legacy and community. The event is free, but RSVPs are appreciated.

Hosted by Sweet Sistah Splash, the Young Black Genius Juneteenth Block Party: Black Wall Street Edition will honor the legacy of Black Wall Street while spotlighting the rising generation of Black youth, innovators, and leaders. The family-friendly event is happening Saturday at Ziegler Park from noon to 4PM and kids and teens are invited to experience a dynamic youth business fair with kid and teen vendors, plus local food trucks, live performances and a $100 cash prize open mic. Enjoy interactive demos, games, inspiring speakers and valuable resources in jobs, sports and leadership all designed to empower and celebrate Black brilliance. Come support, shop and uplift local youth!

Celebrate Findlay Market’s incredible Black-owned businesses at the 5th annual Juneteenth Tasting Event on Sunday from 10AM to 4PM! You’ll have the opportunity to sample special dishes from dozens of different businesses throughout the Market District, and enjoy the diverse array of cuisines that are near and dear to the Black community. Tasting tickets are available in bundles of 8 ($20) and 18 ($40), and each ticket includes one food sample or $2 off an artisan good (unless otherwise noted).
