Who’s ready to (pumpkin) spice things up this week?! From spooky to sporty, there’s so many ways to enjoy these dwindling October days downtown. Creep into the hallo-weekend tomorrow night at Nightmare on Elm Street - the Rhinegeist Halloween dance party and drag show! Expect devilish dancing, spooky drag, terrifying tarot readings, supernatural brews, creepy cocktails, and more! The free party kicks off in the taproom at 8PM, and the drag show starts at 9PM. RSVP online today…if you dare!

Keep the gourd vibes going through Saturday and Sunday at Washington Park’s annual Fall Fest Weekend, a highlight of the UC Health Fall Series, from 11AM to 4PM! The family-friendly fun will feature live music at the park’s bandstand, shopping from local vendors, animal encounters with Horse-N’-Round Fun, and a free pumpkin patch! Plan to carve out some time to enjoy a hot cider or Coffia coffee from the Sherwin-William’s Porch, cozy up next to a fire pit, and take in the beautiful autumn views. If you’re craving more fall-centric fun in Over-the-Rhine, check out Fright Fest’s line-up of free Halloween movie screenings hosted at three bone-chilling venues across the neighborhood every night this weekend. The events are free, and all are welcome!

Just when you think the weekend can’t get any cooler, it’s time to hit the ice at Heritage Bank Center! That’s right, hockey is back in the Queen City. Saturday night, your Cincinnati Cyclones will take on the Indy Fuel in the inaugural at home matchup of the season. Pack the rink and celebrate First Faceoff with $2 hotdogs, soda, and beer! The doors open at 6PM and the puck drops at 7PM Skate over to the ticket page and score your seats today!

While one Cincinnati sports season is just getting started, another is hitting a fever pitch! On Monday night, FC Cincinnati will hold home field advantage against the New York City FC in the 2024 MLS Cup Playoffs Round One Best-of-3 series. The first team to win two matches will advance to the Eastern Conference Semifinals. The first-round playoff match is another opportunity to continue a strong run of form from The Orange and Blue. The stakes are high, and the team will need their supporters’ energy even higher at TQL Stadium. Kickoff is set for 6:45PM and match tickets are available online!
